Edith Conners Hernandez

Savannah- Edith Conners Hernandez, 98, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at Hospice House.

A native of Savannah, she was a communicant of St. Michael’s Catholic Church on Tybee Island for 67 years. Most recently, she attended St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church on Wilmington Island. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul C. Hernandez, Sr.; parents, William and Annie Conners; sister, Catherine; brother, Eddie and two grandchildren, Jimmy Keane and Christy Wilson.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Paul & Kitty Hernandez, Jr. of Savannah; daughter, Catherine H. Wilson of Savannah; six grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation: 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 21, 2007 at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church.

Mass of Christian Burial: 11:00 a.m. Saturday April 21, 2007 at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church with The Reverend Patrick O’Brien, Celebrant.

Burial: Catholic Cemetery.
